Cheese and Beer Tastings

Embark on a beer and cheese tasting tour of Europe and the USA with Tarry Market’s cheese buyer this April and May!

We’ll kick of each class with a sample of house sorbet to cleanse the palate. Continue with a guided tasting of four great cheeses and four perfectly paired beers to wash them down. Leave with a Tarry Market tote filled with a selection of three cheeses and two beers sampled during the event. The cheese counter will remain open for additional purchases during this time.

All classes $50 per person; $90 for two.
Fee is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable.

Cheeses of Spain

The Spanish cheeses may include Manchego, Garrotxa, Iberico, and Valdeon.

Cheeses of France
April 16, 2016
6:30–8:00 pm

The French cheeses may include Bucheron, Abbaye de Belloc, Saulnois Reserve, and Persille De Rambouillet.

Cheeses of Italy
May 7, 2016
6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

The Italian cheeses may include Cremosa, Bra Duro, Fiore Sardo, and Blu di Moncenisio.

Cheeses of the USA: Arethusa, Litchfield CT
May 21, 2016
6:30–8:00 pm

This is a great event to sample the varied cheeses from cows milked on Arethusa Farm where two hundred farm animals including Jersey, Holstein and Brown Swiss cows produce some of the best local cheeses.

*Cheeses may change based on availability. If, for any reason, an event is canceled, all paid registrants may either be refunded or transfer registration to another event.
